TWIN TUBE
Twin tube is a basic design of shock absorber. The major characteristic is including outside-tube and inner-tube. Protecting the structure of shock absorber is function of outside-tube. Inner-tube working with piston, maintain the function of shock absorber.
Because twin tube is separated from two part of tube, It has better durability. Long travel, comfort , low friction are the advantage of this design basis.However cooling is a defect of this design.

MONO TUBE
Mono tube is a basic design of shock absorber. Separation of oil and gas is the characteristic of this struction. Floating piston is the segment material of oil and gas. High pressure gas is in chamber and under the struction. The damping occur at two side of piston when it is working.
This struction is better in cooling because of only one tube struction. Large plane of piston achieves maximum damping condition. However travel, durability and accuracy are defects of this design basis.
